Welcome back to Kurt's Korner! For this blog installment, I want to take a look at our elections. So much has happened since Covid that has made our elections more opaque and shadier than ever. Mass mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, unsolicited ballots, machine errors, ballot "mules", a Secretary of State in Arizona overseeing elections and running for office, and so much more. Why do we vote for over a month now? Why does it take a week or more in some cases to figure out who won? Why does this only seem to happen in America, where other Western countries know who won their elections the same night? Tons of stories related to the midterm elections and a breaking story about political corruption at a cryptocurrency exchange have brought this topic to the attention of many, but not enough. If you're reading this, you know that the mainstream media is not going to touch these stories with a 10 foot pole. So let's dive into one of the bigger issues, a cryptocurrency exchange called FTX:
FTX and the Ukrainian Money Laundering Scheme
On November 11, Sam Bankman-Fried, Founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX Trading Ltd. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, but not before donating over $40 million to Democratic midterm campaigns. SBF and FTX are both under federal investigation for illegally using investor/client money to fund various projects without the knowledge of people holding their currency in the exchange. In addition to funding Democrat political campaigns, what else was FTX spending money on?
-Senate Leadership Fund
-Covid Vaccine Research
-Opposition Research to Ivermectin and other alternative Covid treatments
-and UKRAINE
Starting in March, the Ukranian government started investing American aid into cryptocurrency in FTX, who then liquidated those assets into cash donations to the Democrat party. This is FRAUD and CORRUPTION 101, on a level that every American should be enraged at.
We've known that the Ukrainian government has been corrupt for years now. Heck, even the mainstream media outlets that are now shilling for more and more aid to Ukraine were writing about it up until it became politically inconvenient to do so:
Reflections on the Process and the Path Forward
Isn't it ironic how all of this didn't come out until the day AFTER the election? Of course this isn't going to lead to any changes. None of the elected Democrats will be called into question. Biden will not be grilled on the government's aid to Ukraine and where exactly the money went. Nobody seems to care. All that matters to the left is that they WIN, at any cost. Just think about how much more corruption is going on behind the scenes that we don't and may never know about. Our government and elections are less transparent than ever, and it's obvious. The mainstream press is not going to come anywhere close to this or other similar stories. They'll call us "ELECTION DENIERS!" and smear us, because any acknowledgement of what's actually going on will cause the entire house of cards to come crashing down. This midterm election is a wake up call for republicans. The weak strategy of the McConnel's, McCarthy's, and Murkowski's in our government has failed us. We need bold, courageous leaders who are going to call attention to these issues and work to fix our broken elections. Nobody else is, because they are all benefitting from it. If we don't address these problems, the public's trust in our elections is going to continue to deteriorate. Republicans will stop showing up to vote if they don't think that their vote matters or will change anything about our corrupt establishment structure. Losing parties in every election will start denying the results and dragging out long court cases. This is not good for our republic, if we can even call it that anymore.
